HensonFuerst Files Suit Against Cardinal Health and Steris Corp.

Henson & Fuerst announces that they have filed suit against Cardinal Health and Steris Corporation.  This lawsuit stems from a 2004 incident at two Duke University owned hospitals, in which more than 3,800 patients were exposed to surgical instruments washed in waste hydraulic fluid.

Arising out of that same incident, Henson Fuerst has also recently resolved, without resort to litigation, all claims against Duke University Health Systems and its constituent hospitals.  Specific terms are confidential based on mutual agreement by both parties.  Henson Fuerst preserved their rights to proceed with claims against other defendants in this incident, which included Cardinal Health and Steris Sorporation.
