Timothy L. McNeill was born in Lumberton, North Carolina in 1966. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (Pre-Med) from UNC-Pembroke in 1988. McNeill was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps where he served honorably as an Infantry Officer. McNeill holds a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 1995 the American College of Healthcare Executives awarded McNeill standing as a Board Certified Healthcare Executive. For eight years, McNeill worked in hospital and health plan management in North Carolina, New Mexico, and Iowa.
Timothy graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2003 where he was awarded an Iowa Law Foundation Fellowship, selected as a writer on the Journal of Transnational Law and Contemporary Problems and served as a Student Judge on the Iowa Law Moot Court Board. Additionally, McNeill served as Vice President of the Iowa Law Native American Law Students Association and was a participating member in Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity, the American Constitution Society, and the Intellectual Property Law Society.
He is licensed to practice in North Carolina and Iowa. McNeill is admitted to practice before all North Carolina State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. McNeill joined the HensonFuerst law firm in 2008 and will concentrate his practice in the areas of auto torts and personal injury.
