Morrisville Parkway Extension and N.C. 540 Interchange

The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) will soon begin right of way acquisition on a project that will extend Morrisville Parkway from Green Level Church Road to NC 55 in Wake County. The 1.8-mile stretch of road will be widened from two lanes to four lanes, including a landscaped median and an interchange at NC 540.

Construction of the Morrisville Parkway extension project, also referred to as U-5315B, is still in the planning stages. The project is estimated to cost a total of $22.8 million– with construction costs approximated at $18.8 million and right of way costs at $4 million.
