North Carolina auto accident slows traffic

The News and Observer reported that a North Carolina car accident on Sunday caused police to detour traffic for several hours.

The North Carolina auto accident occurred when the driver of a car drove off the side of the road and struck a nearby overhead sign, causing it to collapse into the roadway.

The driver was charged with DWI and driving on a revoked license.

Authorities said that the injuries he sustained during the North Carolina car accident were not life-threatening.
