Drug May Prevent Brain Injury Epilepsy

According to a study at the Washington University School of Medicine, a drug called rapamycin may help prevent some types of epilepsy that are frequently caused by brain injury.  Traumatic Brain Injury Lawyer Thomas Henson says that “these new findings are exciting because epileptic seizures and conditions are one of the most frightening and profound consequences of brain injury.  Any treatment that is proven to be effective is exciting and offers new hope for brain injury patients.”
