Lynn v. Guilford County Schools

The claimant was an assistant principal.  While at work the claimant intervened to break up a fight between two students.  As a result of the intervention, the claimant fell backwards and contended that his knee and back were injured in the fall.  However, the claimant failed to provide sufficient expert testimony as to causation between the fall and the alleged injuries.  As such, claimant’s claim for benefits was denied.
