The Winston-Salem Journal reported that a North Carolina car accident over the weekend claimed the life of a local man.
The man was driving down the road when he lost control of his pickup truck, drove off the side of the road, hit a nearby embankment, and flipped over.
He was taken to a local hospital to be treated, but later died.
A passenger in his truck suffered some minor injuries during the NC auto accident and was taken to a local hospital to be treated.
Authorities said that speed contributed to the North Carolina car accident.
