WRAL reported that a North Carolina car accident Monday morning started out as a high speed car chase.
Authorities saw a car that had been reported as being stolen and began to follow it. After losing sight of the stolen car, the police found it again and resumed the chase on the Interstate.
The chase ended in a North Carolina auto accident near the exit of the Interstate.
All but one lane of traffic were closed while authorities investigated the North Carolina car accident.
