Last week, we told you about a recall of Jantoven Warfarin tablets, manufactured by Upsher-Smith Laboratories. Now, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced that many other drugs by the same manufacturer are also being recalled as a precautionary measure: Because wrong-strength tablets were put into mislabeled bottles, the company is recalling all drugs packaged in the same packaging line at the same time.
The list of recalled drugs is extensive, and include:
- Amantadine
- Amlodipine
- Androxy
- Baclofen
- Bethanechol
- Jantoven
- Oxybutynin
To learn details about the recalled drug dosage and batch numbers, go to the FDA information page here: Upsher-Smith Press Release. Consumers and pharmacists can call 1-877-492-4791 for more information and to access product details, Monday-Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (EST).
