Update Alert – Zecuity Pulled From Shelves

The FDA is investigating the risk of patients suffering serious burns and permanent scarring after using the Zecuity patch.

Teva Pharmaceuticals, the manufacturer of Zecuity, has temporarily suspended sales of this patch, used to relieve migraine headaches. The Zecuity Patch has been causing burns and scarring on patients using the patch. Teva will be investigating these complaints.

The FDA has instructed all health care professionals to stop prescribing Zecurity and to contact all patients they prescribed the patch to and inform them of these adverse reactions.
