Congratulations to Terrell G., student at Douglas Byrd High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina! He was named the grand-prize winner of the 2010 HensonFuerst PSA Contest. His winning video elegantly blended creative vision and savvy editing skills, giving life to a message of bicycle safety.
The prize is pretty wonderful: a new Apple MacBook with video editing capability (or $1500.00 electronics gift certificate)… and a $500 donation to the student’s school. Terrell’s PSA will be aired on local television and on the HensonFuerst website.
Two runners-up were also named: Frank B. of Sanderson High School, and Jordan A. of Durham School of the Arts.
The competition this year was serious–18 entries by talented high school students from eastern North Carolina. We’re proud of all the entrants, and we hope this contest helps to encourage their creative endeavors.
We can hardly wait for next year’s competition!
