Raven Rock Ramble is a century (100-mile) bicycle ride that explores the four-county area (Wake, Harnett, Lee, and Chatham) around Raven Rock State Park. Proceeds from the event benefit the UNC Kidney Center for direct patient services.
Since its start in 2002, the Raven Rock Ramble has raised over $198,000 toward kidney health and awareness. While it is too early to have an accurate tally from this year’s event, it is expected that they will have raised about $30,000. 100% of the money is slated for emergency needs of UNC kidney patients.
Henson Fuerst Attorneys was a sponsor of this year’s event, which took place on May 1, 2016. As always, the Henson Fuerst Cycling Team was along for the ride. It was a bit rainy this year, but it was still a great time for a very worthy cause.
