Is there anything more fun than an animal adoption? How about cyclists coming together to raise money and publicity for homeless dogs and cats?
Carolina Animal Rescue & Adoption held its 7th Annual RIDE FOR THEIR LIVES on Saturday, May 7, 2016. This popular event included a metric century ride (100 kilometers, or about 62 miles), a half-metric century ride, and a 10 mile ride.
The Henson Fuerst Cycling Team was represented at the event, and team captain Thomas Henson Jr. even took a pause for paws and posed with some of the adoptable animals.
