Injured WV Worker’s Struggle to Obtain Benefits

We have all followed the devastating news story of the recent coal mining tragedy.  To make matters worse, West Virginia’s Worker’s Compensation system is now failing to help those most in need.  Partially due to a series of reforms enacted by the State’s Chamber of Commerce, doctors and lawyers alike are refusing to take on cases involving injured workers.  The system has enacted so many barriers to treatment and legal recourse, that injured workers are being hurt in the process:  http://www.publicnewsservice.org/index.php?/content/article/13996-1
