A state trooper died in a recent North Carolina car accident involving a garbage truck, according to The News & Observer.
The trooper’s patrol car collided with the garbage truck. Most of the damage was done to the driver’s side of the patrol car.
The officer was critically injured at the scene of the North Carolina auto accident, but later died.
Authorities are still investigating the North Carolina car accident.
